Wow.

I've been away for a while.

I feel bad about neglecting my blog, but it's only because I've been ridiculously busy trying to set up my 2013 by way of work so that I know exactly what I'm in for. I'm horrible when it comes to actually scheduling and parceling my time so that I meet most of my deadlines, and I'm trying to make a more concentrated effort in getting that part of my professional responsibilities on track.

Let me be honest with you - January just passed and I'm already behind.

It is to say, that in trying to stay ahead, I've managed to fall behind in updating this blog. I will try my very best to not make that into a habit. But... BUT! If you're in the business of seeing some of my WIP (that's 'Work In Progress', for the non-acronym savvy), you can always visit my INSTAGRAM account or follow me on TWITTER. And while I have a tendency to spout my mouth off at those two social media avenues, more than often I preview some of the images I'm working on before they're posted here in their full glory.

Anyway, thanks for always coming back and checking out the work and passing the link to the blog to others. I really can't thank you enough for the unique traffic hits. I'm humbled and grateful.

Here's my very first post of 2013. I'm specifically grateful this year because between 'The Rapture', the end of the world based on the Mayan calendar and all the other doomsday prophecies that were supposed to bring the end of times at the end of 2012, we are all still here so that we can continue to mess up this little blue planet of ours.
